Histidine and derivatives

Histidine (His) is an essential amino acid with the chemical formula C6H9N3O2. It is one of the aromatic amino acids and is especially important for infants and adults in certain pathological conditions. The main role of histidine in protein is to serve as the active center of the enzyme or to function with other amino acids.
