Pyrrole compounds

Pyrrole is a five-membered heterocyclic compound containing a nitrogen heteroatom. It can be used in the pharmaceutical industry to synthesize elofloxacin, pyrrolamide, pyrovalerone, pyrocaine, and pyroxil. In addition, it is used as a standard substance for chromatographic analysis, to test auroselenic acid and silicic acid, and to determine chromate, gold, iodate, mercury, selenous acid, silicon, and vanadium.
