Tetrazine

Tetrazines are widely used in click chemistry because of their ability to undergo [3+2] cycloaddition reactions with alkynes. The five-membered ring compounds generated by this reaction have good stability and selectivity. Tetrazine derivatives can be combined with biomacromolecules (such as proteins, nucleic acids, etc.) to achieve effective biolabeling for cell imaging and tracking studies. The reactivity of tetrazines makes them very useful in drug synthesis and can be used to design and synthesize novel drug molecules and targeted drug delivery systems.
