PEG Lipid

The main function of PEG-Lipid is to increase the hydrophilicity and steric hindrance of LNP through the modification of polyethylene glycol chain, promote LNP self-assembly, and prevent particles from aggregating during preparation and storage, thereby enhancing the stability of particles. In addition, PEG promotes the non-specific binding of LNP to plasma proteins and prolongs the circulation time of LNP in the body.
