TFA-modified nucleosides

TFA (Trifluoroacetic acid) modified nucleotides refer to the modification of nucleotide molecules by trifluoroacetic acid groups (-CF₃). TFA modification usually involves the introduction of trifluoroethyl or other fluorinated groups into the base, sugar or phosphate backbone of the nucleotide. The introduction of TFA modified nucleotides can have a significant impact on the stability, affinity, and drug activity of nucleic acids, and therefore has been widely used in nucleic acid drugs, gene therapy, antiviral therapy, and other biomedical fields.
