Carboxylic Acid Silyl Esters, Sulfonic Acid Silyl Esters
Silane carboxylates and silane sulfonates are two common silicon-containing compounds that are widely used in organosilicon chemistry and materials science. They connect silane groups with carboxylic acid or sulfonic acid groups through silicon-oxygen bonds (Si-O) and have important chemical and physical properties. Silane carboxylates and silane sulfonates play important roles in surface modification, polymer synthesis, catalytic reactions, etc. They combine silane groups with functional acid groups (carboxylic acid or sulfonic acid) to form compounds with special properties, which are widely used in materials science, chemical engineering, electronics, coatings and other industries.
