Thiazide compounds
Thiazide compounds are a class of compounds containing a thiazine ring structure, which consists of a sulfur atom and a nitrogen atom, usually connected to a hydrocarbon chain or other groups, generally a six-membered ring, in which the sulfur and nitrogen are located in two adjacent positions. This structure gives thiazide compounds unique chemical properties. They have a variety of biological activities and pharmacological effects, especially in the medical field, and are widely used, especially in diuretic and antihypertensive treatment.
