DBCO PEG

DBCO PEG is a class of PEGs containing a very reactive dibenzocyclooctyne group. DBCO is used in ketone-free click chemistry to react with azides. The reaction can be carried out in organic solvents or in aqueous solutions, depending on the solubility and properties of the substrate molecule. The PEG stericity of this reagent increases hydrophilicity and fine-tunes the properties of the PEGylated molecule.
